Khawaja recruits the charlatan, Sabah, to help him with his swindling. When Hewaida abruptly leaves Khawaja's house, he thinks that Sabah is trying to use her to pressure him. Enas discovers that Sherif found out about Khawaja's diplomatic attache disguise.
Sherif manages to get Hewaida's name from the police station. Khawaja finds Hewaida in Sabah's place and locks her up. He asks Sabah to bring him Sherif's sister and to introduce him as a Wali (Islamic saint) from Morocco.
Sherif's sister, Shahira, goes to meet "Sheikh Radwan", who is actually Khawaja. Sheikh Ref'at learns that Khawaja knows Sabah. Sherif finds out about the camera that was planted in his house. Sheikh Radwan asks Shahira to bring him Sherif's daughter, Mariam.
As Khawaja gets arrested at Sabah's house, a group of MB members try to kill him using hand grenades. Khawaja is transferred to the hospital in critical condition, as Mariam recovers from injuries taken in the same attack.
One of the doctors accidentally prepares a death certificate for Khawaja when his heart stops for a while. The doctors are bribed and the gang switches Khawaja with an anonymous corpse. Enas plants camera inside Khawaja's villa to find out the location of the safe.
As "Sheikh Radwan" gets buried, his supporters decide to build him a shrine. Khawaja learns that Hewaida is in the hospital and asks to see her, but Hewaida leaves when she hears about it. Sherif's absentee wife appears to ask about Sheikh Radwan's shrine.
A video of Khawaja admitting that he is Sheikh Radwan is leaked online. When a discrepancy in the number of casualties of the attack reveals a missing body, Sherif searches the hospital for Khawaja. He finds his room but after Khawaja had already escaped.
Khawaja returns to his villa and wipes the computer hard drive. As the police confirm that Khawaja is alive, they interrogate the doctor responsible for what happened. Khawaja gets one of his men to kidnap the doctor before he is able to give his statement.
With the help of Officer Salwa, Enas finds out the name of the hospital manager who had the bodies switched. Gaber and Enas try to bribe the hospital manager to reveal how she pulled off the switch. Shahira goes to her father's place after Sherif blames her for what happened to Mariam.
Sherif searches Sabah's house and discovers that Khawaja had cameras planted inside. Sherif meets Hewaida who gives him the address to Khawaja's villa, but his search of the villa yields no clue as to where Khawaja is.
As Sabah leads Enas to Fatma, Khawaja smuggles Fatma out so that she wouldn't help Enas. Sherif discovers that Hassan has a file on the MB's crimes. Officer Hassan is shot at as he is leaving his house. Khawaja does charity work.
As Hassan dies, Sherif gives up on his mission and starts to suspect Officer Khaled of tipping the MB about the file Hassan had on them. Sherif asks Faten, Khaled's fiance, to investigate him. Enas has Officer Salwa tell her everything about the officers' investigations.
Sherif discovers that Officer Ramy is the one leaking information to the MB and has Khaled monitor him. Enas learns where Hewaida is. Adam hallucinates about the past and his accident.
Enas tells the MB where Hewaida is. Dr. Shady confesses his love for Hewaida. Gaber is killed when he tries to rescue Hewaida from the MB. Shady and Hewaida's friend inform Khawaja that Hewaida was kidnapped.
Khawaja learns that Enas is responsible for Hewaida's kidnap and Gaber's murder. Khawaja offers to give the MB the file that contains their crimes in exchange for Hewaida. Faten learns that Salwa is the one who leaked the information about Hewaida.
Faten deceives Salwa and feeds her information that Salwa then relays to Enas. During a visit to Al-Hussein mosque, Khawaja runs across Sherif's wife and kidnaps her. He calls Sherif and asks him to rescue Hewaida in exchange for his wife's safe return.
Khawaja gives the MB a copy of their file after they refuse to give him Hewaida. Sherif searches Dr. Ref'at's villa and rescues Hewaida. Khawaja releases Sherif's wife and tells his own wife, Fatma, why he committed all those crimes.
Khawaja is sentenced to 25 years in prison. Sheikh Mansour and Dr. Ref'at are arrested as Enas flees to Qatar. Khawaja breaks out of prison after bribing a guard. He opens a fish shop in Suez and lives a peaceful life with his wife and daughter.
